You never have long to wait before new DLC is released for The Sims 4. Each quarter of the year has its own Roadmap. This works like a release calendar for the simulator’s upcoming additions. As a result, new stuff is pretty much always on the horizon.
Based on the most recently leaked roadmap, we know that the last of The Sims 4’s big releases for the year is probably the upcoming Expansion Pack, Adventure Awaits. It also said we were set to receive a few Base Game updates and a timed event, which have since been confirmed by official correspondence, along with a couple of Kits.
Thanks to leaks shared by Anadius, we might have even more insight into what’s coming up next for The Sims 4. In a recent post on X, Anadius shared that there will be seven new DLCs released between Adventure Awaits and the following Expansion Pack. This is up two from the previously leaked figure.
What should we expect from The Sims 4 after Adventure Awaits?
We don’t know exactly, but we have a couple of vague ideas, alongside a long wishlist.
We know that the Autumn Apparel Kit will be the first to land on October 9th. That’s a few days after Adventure Awaits’ release, landing it squarely in the correct period.
According to the previously leaked Roadmap, November 6th will see the arrival of some Creator Kits. The Roadmap has been accurate so far, so this is probably accurate. Then, we’re set to get some more Kits by the end of the year on December 4th.
While we know we’re getting a bunch of Kits this quarter, the leaked Roadmap doesn’t give us any exact figures. That means it’s possible that the roadmap could already account for all seven pieces of DLC included in Anadius’s leak.
It seems plausible that all of the upcoming DLC could be Kits, considering the scale of Adventure Awaits. It might be overwhelming for a Stuff Pack to come along while we’re still trying to figure out retirement homes.
If this series of Kits doesn’t account for everything released between now and Expansion Pack 21, then we’re none the wiser on what it could be. Personally, I’d love for it to include a Stuff Pack adding cars. Or a Game Pack focused on bands. Or really, just most things besides more Kits.
Please.
