The Sims 4’s next upcoming Expansion, Enchanted By Nature, promises to introduce a number of new features and additions for players to enjoy. Within these various new additions is a new update to one of the Sim life states – PlantSims. This has now been officially confirmed by EA/Maxis, with more detailed information regarding what exactly these changes entail also being explained via what appears to be an official Discord server.
The Sims 4 Enchanted By Nature PlantSim Updates, Explained
While this may generate excitement, it’s important to first note that these new updates to PlantSims are only implemented through the Enchanted By Nature expansion, meaning players will need to purchase this add-on to experience the new features.
However, for those who do plan to purchase the new Enchanted By Nature content, there are quite a few significant updates and additions to be enjoyed. This includes new interactions and abilities.
New PlantSim Additions in The Sims Enchanted By Nature
- Refresh Life Force – Extend the Plant Sim Timer
- Nature’s Breath – Blooms plants
- Absorb Solar Energy – Potted & House Plants
- More PlantSim NPCs appearing around the world
- Poison Kiss – Gives the Green Meanie Ailment (Except to Green Man)
- Praise for Life – Performed on Green Man
- Give Forbidden Fruit or Demand Forbidden Fruit
- Being in water boosts their Water motive
Unfortunately, there have not yet been any further updates or additions to PlantSims in the base game, despite a recent update on July 1st, 2025.
While this may be disappointing for those who cannot acquire Enchanted By Nature, at the very least this is a much-needed breath of fresh air for PlantSims. As they have had very little involvement in the game other than a fun, quirky, transformation, these additions add a new layer of depth to the PlantSim life state.
