Summer’s still just about hanging in there. But, thanks to recent leaks about The Sims 4, we’re starting to look forward to the colder months.
A post on X by CBXSims shared a possible roadmap for what’s to come from The Sims 4 for the rest of the year. It appears to have come from a leak shared by another account also on X, which has since been deleted. The leak suggests that we can expect an Expansion Pack, a few Kits, base game updates, and a new event.
What do we know about the roadmap so far?
The roadmap starts on September 4th. Things kick off with an official reveal of the alleged new Expansion Pack, Adventure Awaits. The following week, on September 10th, we’ll have a gameplay trailer, which’ll hopefully put us out of our misery and tell us if we’re getting hotels or not. We’ll then finish the month off with a new event and a base game update.
Without much breathing room after that, Adventure Awaits is set to arrive on October 2nd. Then, the onslaught of seemingly many, many Kits begins. First up on October 9th we have the Autumn Apparel Kit, which I would imagine is pretty self-explanatory. We don’t know much about the Kits coming after that, as they haven’t been named.
November 6th brings a couple more Creator Kits — yes, plural — before the end of the season wraps up with another game update and a couple more kits in December. It’s safe to assume we’ll get at least two Kits for each of those drops, if the roadmap is accurate. They’ve generally been arriving a few at a time so far.
What we don’t really know anything about is the new event. If the leaks around the Expansion Pack are to be believed, then it’s most likely going to have something to do with holidaymaking and family vacations, however. Event series usually reflect whatever other content is being added to the game at that time, after all, with the Nature’s Calling event tying in with Enchanted By Nature.
