Recently, we keep hearing bummer news about The Sims 5 due to devs’ concern with “expansion bloat.” Well, to brighten the mood, it’s been revealed that the Nature’s Calling event, in The Sims 4, is being expanded, giving players more time to earn rewards, develop handiness skills, discover nature’s secrets, and forget about the possibility of another Sims game.
Nature’s Calling was meant to end today, but the limited-time event is now extended until September 2nd. For the next month, players can complete weekly quests for Event Points and earn free Nature’s Calling-themed items. Maybe this is Maxis’ way of telling us to “touch grass.”

Why is Nature’s Calling getting extended in The Sims 4?
You’ve probably noticed that most limited-time events in The Sims 4 last about six weeks, giving players ample time to complete the quests and get the exclusive rewards. However, Nature’s Calling started off plagued with connectivity issues that limited the amount of time some players could complete quests. Again, is this Maxis telling us to go outside for real?
To make it up to players, developers are now extending the Nature’s Calling event five additional weeks! Even though only console players were impacted, the new end date is accurate for players on every platform. So maybe it’s time to stretch, go outside, get some sun, and then go back inside and spend the next few weeks doing Nature’s Calling Week 4 quests!
Once your Sims have maxed out their skills, they will have access to the Forgotten Grotto in Oasis Springs. See you there!
