The Sims booth at TwitchCon was packed when I went. I had to name drop that I’m Deputy Editor of The Sims News to bypass the crowd — which was wrapped around the entire booth — and get y’all some photos.
As you know, The Sims had a booth at TwitchCon 2025 in San Diego this year and I found it right away by following the massive Plumbob on the ceiling right above it. It was like a honing mechanism for Sim fanatics.
Right when you enter the activation, there are employees walking around with Plumbobs on their head, so they are easy to spot. There’s also a robber sneaking around — best to avoid him.
There were plenty of spots to play The Sims 4 as well, letting fans experience the new Adventure Awaits expansion and all its new activities.
Would you rather watch someone else play? On Saturday, the booth had a consistent lineup of Sims streamers hanging out and creating content. I got to see Dr. Gluon while I was stopping by.
There was also plenty of opportunity to just hang out, vibe, chill, work on a skill… Sorta like being in the game itself: it’s all up to you! I wish I had had time to sit in that beanbag chair. So cute!
And don’t think I forgot the merch! I saved this bit for last. Here are the exclusive items you could get at the booth during TwitchCon, which were themed around the catchphrase “Sim It and See It!”
I forgot to ask where it will be available, I’m sorry. But how cute! Overall, I’m glad I got to stop by and see what was going on at The Sims’ booth at TwitchCon!
Hello! I'm the Deputy Editor of Special Projects here. I am excited to get more involved in The Sims community and help create content that shows the passion, creativity, and dedication of Sims gamers. Woohoo! Wait, not that!
