For fans of The Sims 4, and really videogames in general, bugs and other issues are just a fact of life. But fortunately even EA can’t ignore the tremendous amount of feedback from devoted Sims fans, and now the latest Sims 4 Laundry List tells us where EA’s priorities lie for coming bugfixes.

Laundry Lists are, essentially, just an expression of “We know, we’re working on it.” But it means that you can be confident if you’re facing the same issue, then it’s on the way to being fixed. So with that in mind here’s some choice selections of what’s on the to-do list.

Can’t Water Plants

One of those annoying little things that necessitated a mod to fix it. Watering Plants is, obviously, necessary not only to keep them lust but to keep them alive. So as pointed out in the original complaint thread, this basically makes gardens a no-go. As stated above for the moment there’re some unofficial fixes out there, but it seems this issue has caught the eye of EA and an official fix is on the way.

Vampire eyes on child Sims reverting

Everybody wants their own version of the Adams Family to manage in the Sims. I mean, I know a lot of you enjoy your spooky stuff. So no doubt the issue of child Sims seeing their stylish vampire peepers revert back to bog-standard blue is frustrating. While the thread about this issue is marked as fixed, there’s currently no available resolution for the issue, so it looks as if we’ll be waiting on an official bugfix.

Multiple ghosts cause the game to freeze

While this only occurs under specific circumstances, no doubt there are plenty of you like the aforementioned spookiness fans that prefer having your friends from the other side hanging around. But when that comes at the cost of performance and stability, that’s not exactly good news, which is why it’s good that this is on the list of things to be fixed.

While this Sims 4 Laundry List tells us where EA’s priorities lie for upcoming bugfixes, if you want you can toy with your game and enjoy living on the edge a bit by checking out our guide on how to get started modding The Sims 4!
