The Sims Resource is undoubtedly one of the most important repositories of top custom content for The Sims series, as created by the community. And fortunately for us it’s constantly receiving updates and improvements. Luckily for us we’ve been kept abreast of news of what’s coming soon in The Sims Resource too!
New Collections
The most exciting news will, of course, be what new collections are arriving on TSR as summer continues. Don’t expect swimsuits and beach stuff, however, because we’ve got even more exciting (and unusual) stuff soon to be collected on The Sims Resource!
To start off, is your Sim a fan of classical dancing? Is their top way of relieving stress when they slip on their ballet shoes and take to the ballroom? Then the upcoming Balletcore collection will definitely keep them on their toes!
And if your tastes run into the more modern style of dance then the K-Pop bundle also set to arrive soon will add a bit of South Korean popstar glamour to your Sim’s life! It’s certainly a change form their last World Chess Day bundle.
Other Stuff
Meanwhile if you’re less into downloading content and more into creating it you’ll be excited to know that improvements are coming to LookBuilder, The Sims Resource’s own content-creation tool, focused on hair rendering and compatibility. The TSR team also have plans to open LookBuilder up to all custom content from at least the past two years.
Finally, backend upgrades for the download basket and a revamping of the paid membership page to more clearly explain how it works round out the news.
Still, while The Sims Resource may have the market cornered on great custom content, if you want to customise yourself in real life it’s well worth checking out The Sims merch shop’s official End of Summer Sale now underway!
