It’s been a brief but exciting journey from rumour to proper news for The Sims 4’s hotly-anticipated Enchanted by Nature expansion pack. And now, after the briefest of glimpses from the previous teaser trailer, we have had our first look at the upcoming expansion pack, as The Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature reveal trailer is here!
Enchanting!
The trailer pretty much confirms what we already knew, which is the addition of a new town in the form of Innisgreen, three new traits ( that we now know to be Plant Lover, Mystical and Disruptive) and a focus on ‘natural living’. But it also offers insights into just how that’ll all work when it comes to meeting your Sim’s needs!
For one, we have a few new interactions on show, with Forage and Sleep here allowing your Sim to attend to their needs while out in nature. You’ll even be able to bathe in natural bodies of water (assumedly you’re using all-natural, non-chemical soap.) Why would you want to do all this? Well the new aspiration Nature Nomad could explain why.
All of this isn’t without drawbacks of course, because you can contract ailments such as Sonic Sinuses, Simoleon Fever or Creation Impulse. But you’ll be able to link up with other nature lovers and gather ingredients that can then be used to create all-natural medicine.
Into the green
Before you ask, yes, fairies are here as well. And yes, you can become one! Be one with nature, nurture plants and help others. You’ll certainly have the perfect place to do so as we’ve also had a look at the wonderfully laid-back world of Innisgreen and its three neighbourhoods that range from urban, to rural and mystical.
Grab it now
Sims fans who purchase the expansion pack before August 21st will also get their green fingers on exclusive Fairy Garden Digital content: Lofty Leaf Pond, Luminous Mycena Lantern and the Disguised Fairy Dwelling Home.
As for the whole kit and kaboodle, well, you’ll just have to wait until we break down the entire expansion and find out what game-changing additions are here!
