Enchanted By Nature launch date confirmed by The Sims 4 road map, plus free Base Game updates to come

Road map day is finally here! And it confirmed the arrival of something very exciting – a new Expansion Pack. Enchanted By Nature is coming on July 10th.

It’s the 18th Expansion Pack for The Sims 4, and the second one to come out this year. July might feel like a way off right now, but we’re getting some more content and teasers to keep us fed in the meantime.

The new pack will be officially revealed on June 12th. It’s not totally clear how different this is from the road map itself, but we’ll find out soon. Then, on June 26th, A gameplay trailer will follow. This is where we’ll probably find out the most about what this summer has to offer.

While we’re waiting for Maxis to spill the magic beans on the new Expansion, they’re also treating us to the new Nature’s Calling event series. That launches on June 24th, and runs right the way through the season into August. It looks like it’s going to offer loads of fun unlockable content for free, including a woodworking table, new craftables, and a bunch more.

We’ve also got a couple of Base Game updates to look forward to on July 1st and August 19th. Base Game updates are always free, so there’s loads to look forward to even if you’re not planning to purchase the new pack. The first updates promises ‘greenery descending from above‘ and and the second new skin customisation options.

What hints does the road map give for Enchanted By Nature?

I think that the art used for the road map tells us most of what we need to know about the new DLC. The graphic is super whimsical, featuring some magical little creatures, including a white bunny with a wand and a gnome planting a green sproutling.

Further back in the mystical scene, we can also see the face of a big green man growing on the side of a tree. And, if you’re particularly eagle-eyed, you’ve probably also spotted the purple and green Hobbit-esque house on the left. Are you thinking what I’m thinking?

Everything we know so far suggests that our Sims are in for something a little bit fae over the next couple of months.

Everything else we know so far

Other things we’ve seen or know about the pack, besides what Maxis may be alluding with with the graphic, include:

Most of what we know about the pack so far is essentially confirming speculation and leaks that have tumbled around the web for the past couple of weeks now. It might not be the most surprising thing in the world, but it’s super exciting anyway.
