While the focus this week may’ve been on the new creator kits coming to The Sims 4, the fan-favourite mod platform The Sims Resource is offering even more new content. The kind you can check out right now, as they’ve partnered with noted creator TuPu Art for a new collab.
Oh-so Retro
TuPu Art’s work is typically quite retro, focusing on a revamped 1950s aesthetic that combines nostalgia and modern sensibilities. A brief glance at TuPu’s art catalogue shows off colourful and vivid art that’s been captured quite well in this collection.
The collaboration was created with the input of TuPu, but wouldn’t have been possible without the contributions of a large pool of talented artists who helped translate their work and sketches into true 3D representations.
Unfortunately, there’s not too much here for male Sims, with only a few upper-body cosmetics to jazz them up a bit. However, for female Sims there’s a truly whopping amount of content here to enjoy; whether you resonate particularly with the aesthetic or not.

Made up
Aesthetics-wise, there’s a whole host of additional makeup and clothing options for female Sims, all with that forementioned 1950s flavouring. But it’s in the hair I think many of you will find favourites, with old but bold fashion choices such as the updo and new takes like the Shimydim.
And of course it wouldn’t be a 1950s-themed set without the addition of some truly kitschy new decorations such as sculptures, wall art and even an impressively retro (and large!) vanity to go with it.

If you’re feeling particularly daring you can even have your Sim boast a cigarette discreetly tucked behind their ear; with or without heart-shaped smoke.
The TuPu Art collab certainly offers a whole host of additional content to enjoy. So be sure to check it out. And if you need tips on how exactly mods work, we’ve also got a recent guide to The Sims 4 mods and how they work to guide you through!
