Earlier this year The Sims’ 25th anniversary arrived with a huge amount of fanfare and celebration. And while it’s tempting to look wistfully back at that, we’ve actually only just received the tail-end of this anniversary, because three new kits are available in The Sims 4 right now!
Better yet, these three kits offer interesting and varied new additions to The Sims 4. So let’s break them down, shall we?
Restoration Workshop
Upcycling is the name of the game with this kit. Utilising the new Handiness skill you’ll be able to repair and restore damaged appliances to give them a second chance at life. Better yet, if you envision your Sim as a handysim then you have all new furniture and workshop accessories with which to spruce up their own personal niche. You can even address the weird exclusion of a water heater for your shower-loving Sim!

Golden Years
While you may have stylish elders in your family, not everyone can age like a supermodel. But for those who still want to age gracefully (or disgracefully!) you can play up your elder Sims’ venerable side with a selection of new outfits for everything from walks in the park to gentle yoga and more mischievous escapades they’ve earned the right to. There’s even a toupee- ahem, I mean, what toupee?

Kitchen Clutter
We’ve all seen those Insta-worthy kitchens being shown off by influencers, but most of us (hopefully) realise how unattainable this really is. Whether it’s a mess of pots and pans waiting to be cleaned, cereal boxes left emptied or simply a host of sticky notes pinned to the refrigerator, you can make your kitchen look as well-used (and well-loved!) as it would be in real life.

Want a breakdown of all the kits you can use to spruce up your Sim’s life? Well, look no further than our definitive list breaking down every single kit currently available in The Sims 4!
