Sims fans who’re playing on console can rest easy after a bit of a wait as the May update is now live. With the Sims 4 getting new bugfixes and the latest console patch, it’s the perfect time to dig in ahead of a planned laundry list later on this month!
Pre-laundry
So, what’s been happening? Well, as mentioned earlier, the update from the 27th of May is now available on console for The Sims 4 players. Don’t get too excited though, because as mentioned in the post specific to said patch, this is mainly aimed at prepping TS4 for the upcoming Nature’s Calling event that’s preceding the upcoming expansion.

At the same time, there’s a significant increase in loading times and frames that’ll be very welcome to console players. It also includes a few fixes for the Sleek Bathroom kit that had been bothering many players in the previous laundry list.
Back onto PC
Fortunately for PC fans who might be feeling a bit left out there’re some minor but welcome bugfixes to certain issues. Sims models being ‘distorted’ when they aged up has been fixed, as has an issue with portraits not changing into a career outfit when your Sim took one on.
There’s also further fixes to the Businesses & Hobbies pack, as well as the Seasons expansion. Which again, while minor will be welcome to many fans who might be a bit concerned that the upcoming Enchanted by Nature might overshadow needed fixes for previous packs!
And speaking of said expansion, we’ll stop beating around the bush and direct you over to some of our coverage of Enchanted by Nature. Suffice to say that this expansion is a particularly hefty looking one, so fans will want to check in as we cover all the news coming out over the coming days.
