Rumour Mill: Two new kits coming for The Sims 4 this month

If you’ve somehow already exhausted everything that The Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature has to offer, then you’ll be glad to know you won’t need to wait long for new content.

A notorious leaker has offered up new hints at what could be on the way, with an update and two new kits coming for The Sims 4.

Around the corner

The leaks come courtesy of Anadius, who many of you will remember from back in June when there was the initial news around the summer roadmap. Anadius doesn’t offer much in the way of in-depth information, but their leaks tend to be broadly accurate if nonspecific.

With that in mind, the latest news we have is that there are two new kits set to arrive soon. How soon? August 21st according to them.

More interestingly, we also found out that apparently the internal numbering for them has been skipped over, with SP68-70 being the ones that would’ve been next while these are marked as SP71-72.

Now, even the fact that these are kits is highly speculative. But it would track with Anadius’ own prior leaks which indicated that there would be at least two new minor DLC between expansion packs. So, what could they contain?

Uhhhh…

Well, at the minute, we don’t know! We can certainly speculate warrantlessly, however. And given that we’ve recently had two (Kitchen Clutter and Restoration Workshop) focusing on strengthening fundamental home aspects, I wouldn’t be surprised if at least one kit follows this trend.

Admittedly, something like a gardening kit would also make sense but I also think that EA and Maxis are likely to want to move on from the natural world for a bit. Certainly if the kits are coming as soon as is claimed we’ll likely find out sooner than later.

In the meantime, keep an eye out for that upcoming updated — speculated to arrive on the 19th — and why not dig into our list of the best DLC for rags-to-riches challenges for a glimpse at what expansions we’ve picked out?
