MySims is coming to Xbox Series S & PlayStation 5 in series first

Well, while yesterday we were kicking our heels a bit with some odd (albeit mildly interesting) news about folks splitting over The Sims 4, it seems we aren’t going to lack in big news now. That’s because the MySims Cozy Bundle is coming to Xbox Series S & PlayStation 5 on November 20th!

Get Cozy

If you’ve been living under a rock, somehow, you may not know what MySims is. But this cute, Animal Crossing-like spinoff of the Sims franchise is a rightfully beloved DS and Wii exclusive. The first offered much of the same gameplay as the rest of the Sims franchise, albeit with hand-curated characters to interact with and tasks to perform.

Your task is, in essence, to grow the town you live in on behalf of the town leader. You’ll be able to place buildings and unlock new parts and decorations, all while attracting various new residents (again, much like Animal Crossing).

MySims Kingdom meanwhile whisked you away to a fairytale land, with plenty of familiar faces and even more new ones. Both let you create your own home in these respective settings and enjoy the classic Sims fun of customising your home and own Sim to suit your personal tastes.

Console Me

While I can’t recall people necessarily screaming for the rooftops in need of this port, it’s nonetheless a welcome one. The Sims 4 has been a bit iffy on consoles for a while now, but many players love the franchise regardless of performance issues. And given MySims is much older it can more easily take advantage of years of advancements to run smooth like butter.

The MySims series is also just fun in its own right, and well worth digging into. So, if you’re a console player now’s the time to finally give this beloved spinoff a go for yourself come November 20th!
