If you’ve spent any amount of time on Sims ‘Tube, you’ve probably come across LilSimsie (Kayla Sims) and her hotdog grill-friend Stanley Humphrey. You might know her best for her build challenges and vast collection of houses on The Sims 4 Gallery. Or, maybe you’ve heard about her dedication to trying out every way to get rich quick, from vending machines to pumpkin carving. She even has her own official Sims 4 DLC.
But, another thing she’s known for is her massive efforts to raise funds for charity and mutual aid.
The campaign exceeded all expectations
Since 2020, Simsie has regularly raised money for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, a pediatric hospital and non-profit dedicated to treating and studying severe childhood diseases, including several cancers. In 2025, she smashed her goal by raising over $1 million US dollars throughout the month of May alone. At the time of writing, the Tiltify campaign sits at exactly $1,019,861.32, with donations continuing to come in.
Throughout the month, she took to Twitch to build LEGO sets, stream Mario Kart (in an incredibly dashing Toad hat, no less), play JustDance while dressed as a hot dog, and of course, to play The Sims. One milestone of her campaign included speedrunning as many Sims 4 deaths as possible (with a poll deciding which is the best kind – spoiler alert, meteor strike won by a landslide), while in another, she cosplayed as Vladistraus Straud, the horror of Forgotten Hollow.
This isn’t Simsie’s first rodeo
Although this year’s campaign was particularly impressive, her previous campaigns also raised a substantial sum for the hospital. In both 2023 and 2024, collective efforts from the Simsie Squad, a group of gamers on Tiltify, raised over half a million for St. Jude’s. And, these figures have only grown year-on-year. Maybe May 2026 will continue the trend?
As well as her regular support for St. Jude’s, Simsie has run a number of other Tiltify campaigns and teams, including raising more than $36,000 for Trans Lifeline and over $173,000 for the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund. These campaigns are all still live on the platform.
