InZOI launched the first-ever DLC expansion for the game, Island Getaway, on August 20th, 2025. This update included new content for players to enjoy across the new playable location of Cahaya.
Cahaya, as the DLC title suggests, is a series of tropical islands full of fun features such as natural living, nature exploration, and even numerous little street cats that tend to roam the island.
If you’re looking to try InZOI’s Island Getaway out, you should definitely aim to check out these five features first.
Cahaya’s Guardian Cat Shrine
Cahaya has numerous street cats that roam the islands. Players will, without a doubt, be able to encounter the cute little critters during their day-to-day Zoi lives.
However, in addition to the cats you can find around the island, there is also a special shrine. In Cahaya, the cats are worshipped as island guardians, with a dedicated shrine where people can come to pay their respects.
The shrine, which features gorgeous feline statues with a lovely surrounding ambience, is definitely one of the first stops players should aim to make in InZOI’s Island Getaway.
Underwater exploration
Cahaya encourages players to explore their natural environment with plenty of locations to visit, activities to enjoy, and secrets of nature to uncover.
However, a whole new level of exploration is also available under the ocean waves, as Island Getaway has introduced the ability for Zoi to participate in swimming and deep-sea diving.
As seen in the example image above, players will be able to enjoy plenty of vibrant, eye-catching discoveries under the water, such as native fish and sea creatures.
Farming
Farming is a new way in which Zoi can spend their time and interact with others in IslandGetaway.
Through this feature, players can embrace the island lifestyle and have their Zoi live off the land. Zois will have to consider fertilisers, crops, and water supplies when it comes to farming, each of which has different tools and objects that can be unlocked to customise or further enhance the farming experience and quality of their products as they work their way up.
Boating & fishing
Newly implemented in InZOI’s Island Getaway, boats are a new method of transport that players can use to explore the ocean waters and travel between each island. Furthermore, boats can also be used as a fishing vessel, as long as you’ve purchased a viable fishing rod!
There’s no better way for your Zois to relax than taking a boat out for a spin and spending some time fishing off the side in the warm island sunshine.
Turtle Races
Aside from the relaxation and exploration activities available in InZOI’s Island Getaway expansion, there are several fun activities that can be enjoyed by your characters. One such example is the Turtle Races, where Zoi will place a bet on a mechanical turtle and then see which one wins a fun little racing game.
Honestly, this one brought back memories of SpongeBob and Squidward in the episode that featured the snail races, and for that hilarious and fond memory alone, InZOI’s turtle races are more than deserving of the last spot on this list!
C’mon now, don’t tell me you don’t wanna take a break from the deep-sea diving and rush right over to play a few turtle races!
