If you thought you had seen it all in The Sims 4, then you can almost always rely on mods to throw you an unexpected curveball, introducing something new and/or bizarre to the game. Modding and Custom Content (CC) in The Sims 4 is an endless world of possibilities, introducing new items, gameplay functions, and overhauls. One such mod definitely stands out among others as ridiculous, intriguing, and just a little bit concerning…the Cannibal mod!
Due to the large variety in the modding community, there tends to be something out there for almost every approach – horror-inspired playthroughs, heightening dramas, whirlwind romances, and more. If you were looking for something new to throw into the mix, then well…uh, cannibalism is most definitely an option, I guess?
And before you screw up your face, don’t go playing all innocent! We all know how Sims players think, and the types of messed-up ordeals they throw their poor characters into on a daily basis.
The same people who lock their Sims in buildings with limited supplies and let them duke it out in a fight to the death for survival, Hunger Games style? Yeah. I can see those people having way too much fun with this mod. Well, before anyone starts feeling peckish, I’m going to dive in and take a look at what the Sims 4 Cannibal mod has to offer.
What is the Cannibal mod in The Sims 4?
Created by a modder known as Necrodog, this file adds functions to immerse players in… well, the world of a cannibal. What does this mean? Well, it’s exactly as it sounds. Sims have the possibility of becoming Cannibals and performing acts of Cannibalism on other Sims.
The Sims 4 Cannibal mod key features
Cannibal Sims are equipped with a custom Plumbob and walk style, and have access to several new interactions, which include performing autopsies, gathering meat from the corpses of other Sims, or even taking a more sinister, stomach-twisting route with the spit-roast action.
Interactive objects
Included in the mod are a series of related environments, items, and interactive objects. One such sample is the Cannibal Altar, which is capable of transforming your Sims into the freakish feast enthusiasts. The Cannibal Fridge can be used to host your…premium cuts of meat from right at home alongside regular kitchen appliances, or even from a classic creepy basement setup if you want to lean into disturbing cliches.
New locations
There is also the Town Morgue Park and Funeral House locations, both of which have been pre-filled with custom content. This gives your Cannibal Sims a place to live, or simply hang out with one another and spend some time with like-minded individuals who share their peculiar hobbies.

While this mod file certainly isn’t for the faint of heart, Cannibal V2 most definitely brings a unique twist to classic Sims 4 gameplay. It can be used in addition to other mod files to create darker, more horror-inspired universes full of gameplay scenarios from your wildest imaginations. Notable examples include the Extreme Violence mod, Life Tragedies mod, and Monster Factory mods.
Once again, the Sims 4 community has proved that there’s just about a mod out there for anything and everything, many of which will bring surprises (and nightmares) to your screen.
