Sim your own adventure with Gibbi Point’s Getaway brochures

A triptych of three separate actuvutues.

The countdown for The Sims 4: Adventure Awaits is on. With not long to go now, we’re ready to start planning our Sims’ much-deserved Getaways.

What better way to do so than by grabbing a brochure for one of Gibbi Point’s fantastic new venues?

The Sims Team has launched SimYourAdventure.com, a website previewing some of the new locations you can expect to enjoy from the new Expansion Pack. Each brochure tells us everything we need to know about the new builds, including a venue summary and which content creator worked on them.

The site teases four pre-built venues

There are four different brochures you can click on to find out more, alongside a selection of (currently) non-interactable leaflets about Gibbi Point’s customs and activities. The four locations are:

  • Camp Bewilderness
  • Youtopia
  • Love Highland/The Golden Age of Love
  • Booty Bootcamp

Each venue offers its own activities, ranging from intensive workouts to hot chocolate lounges. They’re also each built by a creator from the community:

Will all venues be pre-loaded into the new world?

Probably not. Based on everything we already know about Gibbi Point, it doesn’t seem like the number of Getaway venues already placed matches up with what’s in the brochures.

Moreover, one of the builds teased on SimYourAdventure.com actually uses other DLC besides Adventure Awaits. Camp Bewilderness, for example, uses Enchanted By Nature, Island Living, Werewolves, and Vampires. This means that the build would be missing items if opened without the correct content installed, so it seems unlikely that this one comes pre-loaded in the new world.

What’s most likely to be the case is that you’ll be able to grab these builds from the gallery for free on launch. Alternatively, they might be loaded into your library so you can get them even if you play offline.

The site has a few other brochures on display, giving us a preview of jellyfish hats, moonlight kayaking, rock paper scissors championships, geyser gazing, and more. Only one of them is clickable so far, although the others might become available with time.

The Make A Splash leaflet gives us a look at Gibbi Bay, an area known for kayaking, diving, and watersliding. It also shares some cross-pack compatibility with Werewolves by hinting at a moonlit festival.
